D-sub Connector

 

D-sub connector is named for its unique shape of D-type shield. The metal shield can protect two or more rows of pin pins or female heads of the connector, and ensure that the connector is matched and butted through the correct direction and alignment. It should be able to be inserted tightly into the shielding cover of another male. Sometimes the shield is also designed to prevent electromagnetic interference.

 


Precautions for welding:

 

(1) It is suggested to wrap a layer of heat insulation adhesive tape on the inner mold before wrapping copper foil to prevent the core wire from being scalded when welding copper foil or injection molding the outer mold;

(2) The coated copper foil is not allowed to have slit or damage;

(3) If it is found that the copper foil is damaged, the damaged part can be covered with copper foil, and then the joint between the repaired copper foil and the original copper foil shall be completely welded with solder;

(4) After the copper foil is completely wrapped, no inner mold or core wire is allowed to be exposed from any angle;

(5) Pay attention not to scald the core wire during welding.

(6) It is not allowed for the solder to dissolve into the gap between the internal mold and the connector and the solder to penetrate into the insulation tape of the internal mold.
